Finnish Designers Website
Ux/Ui Design / Service Design / Septermber 2024 - April 2025/ Ornamo Art and Design.This project aimed to create a renewed website for Finnish Designers, owned by Ornamo. The project required developing a company profile feature, an event calendar, a job listing page called 'Designduunit,' and an enhanced search engine. Earlier preliminary research carried out with Ornamo’s members had already highlighted several needs — including the desire for a dedicated company profile feature — which helped guide the focus areas for the redesign.
At Ornamo, I collaborated closely with the product owner, who oversaw the project’s direction and quality while giving me plenty of freedom to explore, ideate, and design independently. The website was developed in collaboration with Karhu, who were responsible for the technical build.

Findings and observations:
- Designers and companies need a more effective and intuitive way to connect, showcase their work, and quickly find relevant talent.
- Users prefer clear, concise, and easily scannable content for quick comprehension.
- Increased visibility of services, portfolios, and member profiles can enhance discoverability and engagement.
- The platform should accommodate a diverse range of creative professionals and businesses, supporting the variety of Ornamo’s membership.
